3rd grade classes have done oodles of work
learning about different animals and
how and why they adapt.
Pick one animal that you found very interesting during your work with your classroom teacher. Add a comment below telling what you learned about the animal.
Make sure to include:

I saw #8 walking inside the incubator. I saw a chick trying to get out of the egg.

Animal adaptation is when you study an animal that has physical features, special features, and other interesting facts about that animal.
The Gecko is an amazing animal, because it is the only animal that can communicate with other animals and its prey. Also, it can change the color of its skin to belnd in with tropical colors.
Yes, it can blend in with tropical colors. Its predator can find it difficult to find the gecko when it is camoflauged.
I researched a coyote. A coyote finds its food by hunting. It uses it sharp teeth and its sharp claws to hunt. The skin of a coyote is furry. It has lots of fur. When the predator is trying to catch the coyote, it runs fast like the wind.
The coyote is an endangered species, because people like to hunt them.
I think the baby polar bear would not survive, because polar bears need to live in cold climates to survive.
